On the eve of Padur template festive the village handled approximately 25000 visitors in one day . The village was overflowing with the crowd of devotees to the padur temple. Due to the announcement of local administration holiday, most of the shops remain closed and we are more concerned about visitors as we treat every visitor as a guest of padur family . We setup a temporary restaurant and offered free food to who ever came to the restaurant stall. we counted approximately 5000 plates served within 8 hours including our village residents and visitors
